About The Role
We help our clients develop efficient and cost-effective tax structures and manage their tax risk and processes. Our advice ranges from tax compliance to advising on international structuring, transactions, employment taxes, VAT and R&D expenditure. We provide tax advice to FTSE 100 and major corporations across a broad suite of tax services and technical specialisms. We are an independent expert tax practice with definitive expertise across many areas of tax and a commercial approach to advising our clients. Our senior management team members are experts in their field, qualified in accounting, tax, law and surveying and also includes valuation and economists.
What You’ll Do
Typical projects include tax compliance and reporting, transaction structuring (both domestic and cross-border), group reorganisations, and other specialist services including consulting on transfer pricing and R&D tax incentives.
You will:
- Work alongside more senior colleagues to advise clients
- Prepare tax computations and provide ongoing compliance services to clients
- Provide administrative and project management clerical assistance to the team required to support client engagements, business development and any other team activities. and advising and providing ongoing compliance services to clients
- Calculate tax liabilities and learn how to use software to facilitate this
- Research new areas of tax legislation and case law
- Produce draft reports for a variety of tax related matters
- Attend both internal (e.g. training and team catch ups) and client advisory meetings (both existing and prospective).
- Assist in transaction support and project management
- Learn best practice use of AI to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of work tasks is optimised.

You will be studying towards the ACA CTA Joint Programme and become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser when completed.
What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications (or equivalent (where applicable)
- Must be available to begin this full-time role from 6th September 2027
- Qualified to a degree level (at least 2.1) or equivalent (any degree subject)
- A/A* in A-level and/or 7/8/9 in GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications (or equivalent (where applicable)
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- The ability to manage a varied and changing workload while maintaining accuracy and focusAbility to prioritise and manage a varied and dynamic workload under pressure
- An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Good commercial grounding and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how tax affects businesses
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to take initiative
- Team player but highly self-motivated with a strong ability to take the initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Resilient under pressure, ability to work to tight deadlines and remain focused
- A genuine interest in developing a career in taxation the Tax marketplace and be familiar with recent industry developments and newsworthy events
- A willingness to learn, seek feedback and develop new skills
- A commitment to studying towards a relevant professional qualification

STEP 5: Job offers are made to successful candidates before Christmas.
