Our London-based graduate programme offers the opportunity to rotate through three of our Strategic Communications teams, spending 3 months in each so that you can learn from experts in their respective fields.

Through these rotations, you will have the chance to gain exposure to an incredibly diverse roster of clients, from fast-growing start-ups and scale-ups to FTSE 100 industry leaders and global corporations. Whether it’s communicating clients’ financial results, developing and protecting a corporate reputation, implementing targeted stakeholder engagement programmes or designing bespoke digital strategies, you will have an opportunity to work with our experts across a variety of different sectors and client briefs. You’ll build relationships with colleagues of all levels around our business and offer a unique insight into the many possible career paths that exist within the Strategic Communications practice.

Your typical day might include the following:

  • Supporting colleagues and engaging with clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Drafting press releases and supporting other comms and content creation
  • Researching and brainstorming ideas to support communications strategies and planning
  • ‘Selling in’ stories, pitching interviews and gathering feedback on a client strategy through frequent contact with journalists and sell-side analysts
  • Helping prepare clients for media engagements, supporting planning, communication and execution of client events
  • Compiling coverage reports and conducting media and digital landscape analysis
  • Producing activity reports to capture and evaluate the impact of client comms strategy
  • Supporting colleagues on new business proposals
  • Participating in learning and development sessions with our experts

We have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities to promote continuous learning and individual skills development. An extensive formal training programme covers everything from writing press releases and developing digital skills to effective media monitoring and interpreting a client’s balance sheet. Throughout the scheme, you will be supported by your performance coach, a buddy in each of your rotation teams, and a mentor who can support and guide you through your career goals and development, in addition to our Human Resources team. As such, you will have a strong network around you dedicated to furthering your career development. There are regular personal development training sessions, networking events and other social activities to get involved in. There are also groups dedicated to embracing, cultivating, and maintaining the diverse and inclusive nature of our team.

As you come towards the end of your final rotation placement, your preferences regarding the sector or specialism you would like to join on a permanent basis will be considered by senior management and our Human Resources team before you are assigned to a permanent role.

Basic qualifications:

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) obtained/expected at any university in any degree discipline
  • Graduating with a degree, master’s or PhD in 2027 or have graduated in 2026
  • A desire to work in communications or PR and demonstrated experience such as running a university society, writing for a website or magazine, presenting a radio show or interning at a communications agency
  • Excellent writing, grammar and numeracy skills (these will be tested as part of the assessment process)

  • Outstanding communication skills – in person, in writing and on the phone
  • Strong time management and self-organisation skills
  • Creative thinking and the ability to grasp and succinctly summarise complex issues
  • Confidence to take initiative, volunteer for a task without being asked, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to work, particularly in pressurised situations, and being able to think on your feet
  • A strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude

  • In-person assessment centres will be held in London in the first week of December 2026
  • Successful candidates will be contacted by end 2026 following assessment centres for a 6th of September 2027 start
