The European Tax Advisory practice at FTI Consulting provides corporate tax advisory services to multi-national businesses ranging from tax transaction support to best practice process implementation and structuring. Our tax advisory services are expert-led, client-centric and focused on mitigating tax-risk and minimizing cost. Our Senior Management Team are leaders in their fields, qualified in accounting, tax, law and surveying. The team also includes economists, valuation and technology experts.
FTI has a leading specialist Life Science tax capability and the role sits primarily within this team but will also support work on innovation incentives (R&D and Patent Box across all sectors). With over 100 recurring clients, the Life Sciences team is the largest specialist tax team serving this sector in the country. Our team is also very active in tax policy and has had a significant influence over recent years on developments relevant to companies operating in Life Sciences.
We are currently seeking tax managers to join our successful and growing London-based tax team on a full or part-time basis. The role will be focused on compliance and reporting, preparation of R&D claims and a range of tax advisory services for clients with high growth potential.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Experience in corporate tax compliance, including tax reporting & either international or middle market advisory.
- Ambitious and pro-active.
- Highly organised and structured, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, builds good professional and personal relationships with client teams at all levels and across the firm.
- Good commercial grounding and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Keen to work in the sector.
Basic Qualifications:
- ACA, CTA or equivalent qualified with a good level of PQE with experience in managing and leading client portfolios.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within a large tax consultancy firm.
- Experience with R&D tax credits.
