Compass Lexecon, a subsidiary of FTI Consulting, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a team of 7 to 10 economists ranging from Senior Economists to Vice Presidents. The role requires a highly organized individual with an ability to prioritize a varied workload, adopt a proactive approach, and interact confidently with clients and staff of all levels. The position is driven by client deadlines and may require work outside core hours at short notice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diary management
  • Occasional email management
  • Management of calls and actioning as appropriate
  • Coordination of meetings, including booking of internal meeting rooms
  • Processing invoices for payment
  • Time entry and expenses
  • Preparation of external/internal correspondence
  • Organising complex international travel itineraries
  • Client management, including maintaining client files, opening matters, issuing contracts, and client billings
  • Maintaining contact database and tracking business development activity via Salesforce
  • Covering EA absences during holidays
  • All other ad hoc duties such as post, answering phones, printing, binding and archiving as required
Skills and Competencies Required
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and handle multiple requests
  • Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Ability and willingness to provide cover for other team members of the Administration Team
  • Works well under time pressure, demonstrating a flexible approach and availability as required
  • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle confidential issues with utmost sensitivity and discretion
  • Professional attitude with high levels of integrity
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant / Team Assistant / PA
  • Experience of using expense and time entry systems is desirable
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with client interface and understanding of client relationships
  • Experience dealing with international time zones is essential
  • PA / Secretarial qualifications are desirable
