What You’ll Do

  • You will work within small project teams, supporting clients across a broad range of engagements. Key activities include:
  • Delivering high quality and insightful financial and operational reviews and modelling
  • Analysing market trends and company financials for new insights
  • Identifying how to improve operational performance and create upside potential
  • Identifying risks, potential downsides and mitigating actions
  • Building pragmatic and implementable strategies and business plans, underpinned by solid analyses
  • Driving client implementation including programme management across multiple initiatives
  • Contributing to reports and presenting our work to clients
  • Working in the FTI London office, with frequent work in FTI offices across EMEA and on client sites.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Qualifications & Experience
  • Consulting skills with ability to gather data, perform research, execute analyses and visualise conclusions
  • Experience at dealing with uncertainty and problem solving with incomplete data
  • Team player, open-minded, possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Highly organised and structured, with excellent problem solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, builds good professional and personal relationships with client teams at all levels and across the firm
  • Combines business sense and financial understanding with commercial capabilities
  • Quickly gains comfort with content areas which are unfamiliar and drives content leadership
  • Flexible to accommodate frequent travel
  • Mature demeanour and positive attitude, as well as sensitivity when dealing with clients
Basic Qualifications
  • Fluent English speaker and writer
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of consulting engagements within a top tier management consultancy
  • Industry experience (e.g. consumer goods, retail, TMT, chemicals, pharma, transportation and logistics, financial services, or travel and leisure)
  • Project experience in high paced environments focussed on impact and rapid results (e.g. rapid performance improvement, turnaround, business plan review/development, due diligence, carve-out, integration, implementation)
  • Experience of short, high intensity projects with tight deadlines
  • International exposure and experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Continental languages (e.g. Dutch, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Arabic) are preferable
  • Additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA an advantage
  • Additional industry experience an advantage
