We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Strategic Communications (SC) Finance team. The role is responsible for handling billing requests from the SC segment across multiple EMEA countries, with a focus on billing for Ireland and the United Kingdom. The position manages a high volume of low‑value invoicing, including complex project‑based, fixed‑fee, and disbursement billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client project setup to ensure accuracy for billing: fees/rates, client address details, discounts, and VAT implications.
- Liaise with executive assistants and professional stakeholders to prioritize and manage invoicing workload.
- Manage invoice priority based on WIP value, WIP aging, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and issue monthly WIP reports to client‑facing teams.
- Finalize client invoices in the FTI Billing system (Unit 4) upon project manager approval.
- Handle WIP adjustments, write‑offs, discounts, narrative amendments, progress billing, and credit notes as required.
- Review and finalize invoices at the direction of client‑facing teams.
- Perform E‑Billing: onboard and upload bills to client E‑Billing platforms and client portals for approval and payment.
- Adhere to FTI SOX internal controls during invoice finalization.
