We seek a highly experienced senior feature writer to write across FT Weekend. The successful candidate will propose and execute ideas for high-profile slots such as The Weekend Essay, the magazine cover story, columns and Lunch with the FT.
The role requires writing across a variety of topics and formats including long form essays, reported features, and interviews for the FT's audience of rigorous, questioning and demanding readers. This is a rare opportunity for someone with an extensive track record as an established staff or freelance contributor of notable, substantial work.
The senior feature writer will be expected to demonstrate authoritative reporting and compelling prose at length or short-form, with work rich in context, detail and delight which characterises FT Weekend.
