Job Description
FT Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-known, market-leading IT business that is looking to fill an IT Engineer role within its Operations team. This is a 3rd line level role where candidates will be expected to manage their own workflow and take accountability, ensuring a request or project is delivered and solved in a timely and accurate manner.
The IT Engineer will help the current team deliver cutting-edge technology and digital solutions for their clients. Key duties will include:
- Deliver technical expertise and operational support across diverse customer environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows/Linux systems, Intune, Citrix and SCCM in line with your area of expertise.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and reliable IT service delivery.
- Implement and uphold security best practices across all IT environments.
- Support and optimise cloud and hybrid infrastructures to ensure high levels of efficiency, reliability, and security.
The successful candidate must be an advanced user/senior IT professional who is comfortable with most, if not all, of the following: O365, Windows/Linux, SCCm, Intune, Print, Citrix, Azure & App Support.
This is an exciting role and can effectively be built around the successful candidate's technical strengths and interests. Our client offers an excellent working environment, fantastic office space and hybrid working (3 days office and 2 days remote).
