A well-established HVAC contractor is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing installation and service team. The business delivers HVAC projects across commercial, industrial and residential environments, covering installation, maintenance and fault-finding work on a wide range of air conditioning systems. Due to continued growth and increasing project demand, they are now looking to recruit an experienced engineer to support their expanding operations.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced HVAC team, the Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for installation, service and maintenance activities across multiple sites. Responsibilities include:

  • Installation of air conditioning systems within commercial and residential environments
  • Service and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of air conditioning systems
  • Interpreting schematics and technical drawings
  • Supporting installation teams on larger HVAC projects
  • Working alongside other trades during construction and installation phases
  • Completing job reports, maintenance documentation and service records

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Previous experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer or HVAC Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and air conditioning systems
  • Proven installation and service experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working within construction or building services environments
