FT Recruitment are currently supporting our client to recruit for a Temporary Logistics Administrator to join them for 4-6 weeks (with possible extension) to support a busy logistics team in Westhill. This ideal candidate will have experience in logistics alongside strong administrative skills and must be immediately available to start a new role.
Duties of this role:
- Ensuring the import and export logs are maintained
- Review and facilitate approval of freight and payment invoices
- Renewal of annual vendor certs
- Carry out any other operational requests within the department
- Carry out all tasks in line with health and safety regulations, using good working practices to operate within the company policies and procedures ensuring good housekeeping at all times
Experience required:
- Prior experience within an administrative role is essential, ideally with exposure to logistics, materials or a similar department
- Strong administrative experience such as paying invoices, raising PO's and working closely with clients
- Good communication skills, learnability and proactive personality
- Ability to co-operate and work well as part of a team, as well as being able to work under own initiative
- Previous experience within an import/export environment is advantageous, however training will be provided
