FT Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client, a growing business based in Aberdeen, with the recruitment of a Senior Accounts Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and ambitious organisation where you'll play a key role in the day-to-day finance function.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied workload while helping to support the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities: Manage the purchase and sales ledger processes Process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and credit notes Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate cash records Prepare and process supplier payment runs Credit control and management of outstanding customer balances Assist with month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account queries Process employee expenses and company credit card transactions Maintain accurate financial records within Xero Support the Finance Manager with reporting and ad hoc finance projects Assist with improving finance processes and controls as the business continues to grow We're looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is confident managing a broad finance workload within a busy SME environment.
You'll have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
Previous experience using Xero is required, and you'll enjoy being part of a close-knit team where your contribution will make a real difference.
