Our client are seeking an Interim IT Manager to lead and manage their IT department for an initial period of circa 6 months. This role will require hands-on skills, as well as the ability to manage people, with this position having a handful of people reporting into it directly.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for the IT department, aligning IT goals with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT services, including network management, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support services.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to meet organisational needs.
- Manage and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and manage the IT budget.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring value for money and service excellence.
- Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate IT-related risks to safeguard organisational assets.
