Job Description
If you’re an IT Field Support Engineer looking for a new role and you’re not averse to travelling between offices to support staff while ensuring all internal systems are running smoothly, then this might be for you…
You’ll join a Professional Services business supporting internal staff across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and a couple of places in-between as well as regular visits to support their team in the North East of England.
In this role you will have a salary of around £36k to £38k + benefits (including an annual bonus). There’s also a 1 in 4 week out of hours rota for which you’ll receive additional payments (details tbc).
Please note that this is a field support role and will involve a good deal of travel between sites to support around 500 users. You’ll have autonomy to develop your own weekly schedule split between each of the offices and a company vehicle will be provided, so a full clean drivers licence is essential.
To be successful in this role you’ll bring the following skills and experience:
–         Previous experience delivering IT Helpdesk Support in a Professional Services environment
–         Experience of supporting all aspects of the Microsoft Tech stack (O365, Active Directory etc.)
–         Manage the installation, configuration and support of laptops, networking kit etc.
–         Fault find and break fix of hardware (printers, scanner etc.)
–         Ability to prioritise work and manage users expectations
–         An ITIL Accreditation or previous experience of working in an ITIL environment is advantageous.
