FT Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit for a driven and approachable Key Account Manager to support the continued growth of their business across the marine, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors. The role will focus on developing strong client relationships, increasing brand visibility, identifying opportunities within both existing and emerging markets, and acting as a representative of the company within the industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our market presence while contributing to the company’s wider growth strategy.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging market sectors to support company growth
  • Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends and developments
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking events
  • Promote and present the company’s services and capabilities to both prospective and existing clients
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and support project opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the marine, offshore, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or a similar customer-facing role
  • Industry background within marine, offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy sectors is essential for this role
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Confident representing a company at industry events and professional meetings
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organised
  • Comfortable conducting market analysis and industry research
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Full UK driving licence is essential for this role
