Cyber Security Analyst - Risk

FT Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a rapidly growing, private equity backed business who are looking to take on their first Cyber Security professional into the role of Cyber Security Analyst. The position will report directly to the IT Manager. The successful candidate will be given autonomy to build the Cyber Security function within the IT team, they will have full responsibility for processes and documentation going forward. Investigate cybersecurity incidents efficiently, managing containment, eradication, and recovery to minimise impact. Continuously maintain, enhance, and optimise cybersecurity tools, systems, and processes for improved protection. Work closely with IT and other departments to promote and uphold security best practices across the organisation. Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to enhance organisational resilience. Support compliance initiatives by aligning with data protection and cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Candidates will have experience working within a similar/cyber security role, whilst candidates with relevant security qualifications are encouraged to apply.
