FT Recruitment has been approached by a well‑known, local accountancy firm to assist them in their recruitment of a Corporate Tax professional at either Assistant Manager or Manager level. This role will come under the Aberdeen office; however, there is flexibility with remote/hybrid working potentially available for the right candidate due to their hybrid/remote working policy.
Main Duties
- Assist with managing a small tax team whilst providing leadership and guidance to ensure the team delivers high‑quality work.
- Advise clients on corporate tax issues, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
- Prepare and review tax returns, tax provisions, and tax planning strategies for corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, working collaboratively with them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay up‑to‑date with changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for clients.
- Support the growth of the firm by engaging in business development activities when the opportunity arises.
