We are seeking a Corporate Finance Specialist to join our client's growing team, with a primary focus on financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and disposals. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of mid-market and lower mid-market transactions, supporting private equity, corporate, and investor clients through critical deal stages.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, commercially focused due diligence, helping clients understand financial performance, risks, and value drivers behind each transaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements
- Perform quality of earnings analysis, including revenue, margin, and cost structure assessments
- Analyse working capital, net debt, and cash flow dynamics
- Review historical financial information and assess the sustainability of earnings
- Evaluate management forecasts, business plans, and underlying assumptions
- Identify financial risks, opportunities, and key value drivers relevant to deal decisions
- Produce clear, concise reports and present findings to clients and deal teams
- Work closely with clients, shareholders, legal advisers, and other professional teams
- Support junior team members through coaching, review, and on-the-job development
This role is well-suited to a commercially minded corporate finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment. Candidates will ideally hold a recognised accountancy qualification whilst having in-depth experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, or corporate finance. They will have strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills, whilst having the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
