Business Development Executive

FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Business Development Executive based in Aberdeen on a Permanent, Full Time basis. 

Working closely with the Managing Director, this newly created position will take ownership of the sales function, covering existing client account management, and driving new business development and growth. 

Main duties include: 

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. 
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth. 
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services. 
• Track sales activities. ensuring accurate reporting of progress against targets. 
• Negotiate agreements and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. 
• Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies that may impact the business.

Suitable candidates should have the following: 

• Positive approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop
• Prior experience in a client-facing role, with understanding of the importance of providing a positive customer experience at each interaction
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. 

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
