Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This is an excellent learning opportunity, and on offer for the successful candidate is a 9 day working fortnight!
Responsibilities:
- Completion of management accounts, forecasts and budget, and associated reporting in relation to entity assigned
- Providing the Management Accountant with month end balance sheet reconciliations for review
- Submissions of weekly, bi-monthly cash flow forecasts to Treasury
- General support for monthly accruals, prepayments, bank recs, currency revaluations
- Maintenance of the fixed asset registers and associated reconciliations
