FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing local accountancy practice, for an Accountant on a part‑time basis. This is a fully flexible Remote / Home‑Based role where working hours can be arranged around family / personal commitments, with Sole Trader, LTD company or Umbrella employment solutions available.
Main duties include:
- Bookkeeping
- Account reconciliations
- Management accounts preparation
- Payroll processing and P11d submissions
- Pension auto‑enrolment facilitation
- VAT preparation and filing
- Preparation and submission of accounts
- Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns
- Client liaison on all aspects of their accounts, including tax‑efficient remuneration
Suitable candidates should have the following:
- Experience of working in an accountancy practice setting would be an advantage
- Competence in Excel
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
