FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing local accountancy practice, for an Accountant on a part‑time basis. This is a fully flexible Remote / Home‑Based role where working hours can be arranged around family / personal commitments, with Sole Trader, LTD company or Umbrella employment solutions available.

Main duties include:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Account reconciliations
  • Management accounts preparation
  • Payroll processing and P11d submissions
  • Pension auto‑enrolment facilitation
  • VAT preparation and filing
  • Preparation and submission of accounts
  • Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns
  • Client liaison on all aspects of their accounts, including tax‑efficient remuneration

Suitable candidates should have the following:

  • Experience of working in an accountancy practice setting would be an advantage
  • Competence in Excel
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
