FT Recruitment is delighted to be working with a locally owned and progressive accountancy firm that is looking to hire a Tax Assistant to their busy tax department. This role is suited to someone who either has a grounding in Tax or someone potentially looking to transition into a specialised Tax role, where training and mentorship will be provided, along with the opportunity to undertake professional tax exams.
This role is working closely with the Tax Manager and will be responsible for both Personal and Corporate Taxes. This role would involve dealing with compliance works such as:
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Preparation of quarterly Making Tax Digital returns
- Preparation of corporate tax returns
- Preparation of P11Ds
- Communicating with HMRC on various matters.
