We are working with a well-established non-Energy business as they are looking to appoint a Senior Accounts Assistant to support their busy finance function. This is a hands-on role suited to an organised and detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can support both finance and wider office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchase ledger and ensure accurate processing of supplier invoices in Sage
- Raise and issue daily sales invoices
- Carry out daily bank reconciliations
- Support weekly payroll preparation
- Handle early-stage credit control and resolve outstanding customer balances
- Maintain and update staff holiday records
- Provide general administrative and finance support to the Office Manager
- Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required
If you have solid experience within a similar role, a broad understanding of Payroll, PAYE and Ledger processes as well as a strong working knowledge of Sage then I would be very keen to hear from you!
