FT Recruitment has been asked to support one of our energy clients with their recruitment of a Payroll Coordinator to join their growing finance team. Based in Aberdeen, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected organisation operating within the energy and engineering sector. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model, a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package and would suit someone with a keen interest in business systems and process improvement.
Key Duties:
- Coordinate and submit weekly and monthly payroll information to external payroll providers across the UK and Baku, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Review payroll outputs and process payroll-related changes for employees
- Manage contractor time and attendance data, validating hours and reviewing invoices
- Oversee and maintain company business systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient system operation
- Administer and support time-writing systems, including maintaining personnel, billing and project data
- Produce regular and ad-hoc management reports covering hours, rates, billing and business performance metrics
- Coordinate KPI reporting across multiple departments and provide regular reporting to the parent company
- Maintain job structures, purchase order information and system records to support accurate financial reporting
- Support Sage system processes, including uploading time data and maintaining resource information
- Line manage and support the development of the Business Systems Analyst
- Provide wider support to the Finance team as required
