FT Recruitment has been asked to exclusively partner with our established client, managing their recruitment process for a Payroll & Office Administrator to join their growing team based west of the city. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with payroll experience who enjoys working in a varied role covering payroll, finance, administration and HR.
Key Duties:
- Process all payroll duties associated with weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Administer statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP, alongside auto-enrolment responsibilities.
- Manage pension auto-enrolment, opt-ins, opt-outs and pension contributions.
- Process employee starters, leavers and changes including pay, hours and bank details.
- Provide assistance to the office manager as and when required covering office administration, finance and HR duties.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Support HR with onboarding and induction information, employee letters and formal documentation.
- Provide cover within the payroll department and assist with wider departmental duties including expenses and P11Ds.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working with a financial system.
- Experience checking timesheets and calculating overtime payments.
- Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
