FT Recruitment is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join our client's finance team in Aberdeen. This is a hands-on role, working within a small finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. You will work closely with the senior finance team and play an essential role in managing monthly reporting and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management reports, perform variance analysis, and support product costing.
- Manage monthly journals, accruals, and assist with audits.
- Oversee payroll processing and provide ad hoc finance support.
- Review financial processes and lead improvement initiatives.
- Investigate costs and recommend efficiency or cost-saving measures.
Candidates should have experience working within a similar role, whilst being a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and lead others by example. Knowledge of costings is beneficial however, not essential.
