This position offers a varied mix of hands-on support, systems administration, and project involvement, making it ideal for an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, working closely with end users, and contributing to wider technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support across a range of hardware, software, and business systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues relating to Windows devices, Microsoft 365, networking, and peripheral equipment.
- Support users remotely, over the phone, and on-site, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across Active Directory, Exchange Online, Azure, and related platforms.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and associated hardware.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of business applications and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and support procedures.
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, technology rollouts, and continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to the adoption of ITIL best practices across incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Support IT security initiatives and play an active role in achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies relating to information security and data protection.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within an IT Support, Systems Support, or Service Desk environment and ideally possess strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Azure. You will be comfortable troubleshooting a broad range of hardware, software, and networking issues, with a solid understanding of technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Applicants should also have a full drivers license as there is the occasional requirement to visit other sites.
