We’re partnering with a global organisation seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their finance function in a broad Tax Reporting, Compliance and Advisory role. This position offers excellent exposure across UK and international tax matters, working closely with finance, HR, commercial and operational teams to ensure compliance while supporting strategic business decisions.
This is a highly varied tax role covering reporting, compliance, advisory and governance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the business meets its UK and international tax obligations, while providing practical tax advice to support commercial activity and business growth.
- Oversee direct and indirect tax reporting and compliance across the UK and international jurisdictions.
- Review and support preparation of UK corporation tax returns, Corporate Interest Restriction returns and statutory tax disclosures.
- Manage tax accounting and reporting, including actuals, forecasts and tax packs for finance reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT reporting, including correct application of output tax and recovery of input tax.
- Provide tax advisory support to the business, including tenders, commercial activities and cross-functional queries.
- Support employment tax matters including PSA, P11D compliance, relocations and IR35 requirements.
- Work with finance and global tax teams to ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and BEPS Pillar 2 requirements.
- Assist with R&D tax initiatives, coordinating with operations and advisors to identify qualifying activities.
- Monitor tax legislation changes, maintain the tax risk register and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
- Strengthen tax controls and financial reporting processes, supporting audits and responding to tax authority queries.
