FT Recruitment are supporting our established client to recruit for an experienced HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor to join their human resources team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract in Aberdeen. This is a full time vacancy and may be extended after 6 months.
In this role you will be heavily involved with a TUPE process, after our client has acquired a new business. The successful candidate will be the main focal point for the TUPE transfer process and need to have strong experience in handling end to end TUPE support.
Responsibilities:- Be the company representative at all TUPE consultations with employees, unions and the newly acquired company
- Minuting taking all discussions at consultations
- Answering all TUPE related questions and preparing/issuing a written Q&A log/document
- Working with the acquired company on set up of Apprenticeship levy and training programme for the transferring apprentices
- Working with the company's pensions/benefits advisors on transfer of grandfathered benefits to the business
- Setting up of new transferring employees on the company payroll and HR systems
- Setting up and maintaining of personnel files and ensuring these are kept updated and compliant
- Completing all necessary paperwork for transferring employees
- Assisting operations with onboarding of transferring employees
- Strong experience handling TUPE process is essential for this role, being responsible for previous TUPE transfer projects is required
- Solid HR Advisory / Senior Advisory experience
- You must be immediately available to start a new role as this is an urgent requirement
- Experience working with Trade Unions
- Experience within the Oil and Gas or Energy sector is highly desirable for this role
- Must be willing to travel to site for meetings on a regular basis
- Right to work in the UK - no sponsorship provided for this role
