FT Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit for an experienced Contract Focal Point to join their growing team. In this role you will provide daily support to Contracted Accounts regarding all valve queries and issues, identifying opportunities for the business within Contracted Accounts at all times, building justification for work and seeing them through to order with the client. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will work closely with all departments within the business to ensure the contract runs as smoothly as possible in line with developed contracted account strategy. This is a full time, office based permanent opportunity with great progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for Contracted Accounts and internal departments regarding valves and instrumentation.
- Attend client meetings as required and complete meeting reports following attendance.
- Provide clients with updates on any outstanding queries.
- Maintain and communicate updates relating to SCRAs/ORAs.
- Serve as the key contact for client Work Orders when necessary.
- Provide technical assistance and support for client contracted assets.
- Preparation and Justification of Work Requirements, Ensuring Enquiries are Directed to the Sales Team.
- Generate and manage a consistent flow of enquiries to the Sales Team through the client CMMS.
- Ensure quotation records are kept current and advise where possible, on the likelihood and expected timing of order placement.
- Keep the Service Planner informed with relevant updates and communicate feedback to internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with the internal teams to define work scopes and relay requirements to Sales and Service departments.
- Collaboration with the Contracts Team to deliver the most effective solutions for clients and the business.
- Work proactively with the Contracts Team to produce required listings for upcoming work, including PSV campaigns and spare parts requirements.
- Provide the PSV Planner with details of any changes to ensure databases remain accurate and up to date.
- Forecasting and updating of quote lists in time for Sales Meetings.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Technical Valve experience is essential for this role alongside previous experience being client/customer facing.
- Proven experience in a similar contract management or focal point role.
- Strong knowledge within account management is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising confidently with technical teams and external clients.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining close collaboration with internal departments.
