FT Recruitment has been asked to partner with our technology-led client, managing their recruitment process for a Business Analyst to join their growing digital team in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to act as the bridge between customers, stakeholders and delivery teams, leading product discovery, development and continuous improvement across a growing digital product portfolio.
Key Duties:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, informed by customer needs, market trends and business priorities.
- Engage regularly with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Use analytics and data to inform product decisions, feature enhancements and roadmap priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise new features and enhancements.
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases to provide clear requirements for development teams.
- Own and maintain a prioritised product backlog, making informed trade-offs to maximise the impact of each release.
- Act as the key point of contact and subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering, UX and QA teams to support the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Represent the product in sales meetings and client engagement sessions, demonstrating capabilities and responding to customer requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Track delivery progress and report on key product and performance metrics.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor products and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools to drive innovation, efficiencies and improved customer outcomes.
