FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing local accountancy practice, for an Accountant on a part-time basis. Having successfully helped them secure an accountant, our client are looking for another due to growth and securing numerous new clients.

This is a fully flexible Remote / Home-Based role where working hours can be arranged around family/personal commitments although initially our client would be looking for circa 20 hours per week.

\n
Main duties include:

- \n
- Bookkeeping
- Account reconciliations
- Management accounts preparation
- Payroll processing and P11d submissions
- Pension auto-enrolment facilitation
- VAT preparation and filing
- Preparation and submission of accounts
- Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns
- Client liaison on all aspects of their accounts, including tax-efficient remuneration

Suitable candidates should have the following:

- Experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential
- Competence in Excel
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
