What You'll Be Doing

  • Responding professionally to telephone and email orders from engineers and customers
  • Taking orders correctly, accurately and quickly
  • Troubleshooting to ensure customers' expectations are met
  • Identifying parts required from engineer information and sourcing from competitive suppliers
  • Updating the database with accurate notes whilst dealing with calls
  • Raising quotations from preferred suppliers at competitive prices
  • Assisting with pricing, part numbering and sourcing to fulfil customer orders

The successful candidate will also participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Day holidays.

What You'll Bring

You will have a good standard of education, including maths and English, and proven experience in a customer‑focused or call centre environment. You will demonstrate excellent telephone manner and the ability to quickly build rapport with customers, prioritise work to meet customer needs and manage multiple contracts as required.
