What You'll Be Doing
You'll become our customers' trusted advisor, developing expert knowledge of our product portfolio. Your role combines customer service, sales, warehouse operations, and delivery duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving customers at the trade counter and processing orders accurately
- Building relationships with customers and suppliers through phone, email, and face‑to‑face contact
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for collection or delivery
- Maintaining stock levels and participating in stocktake activities
- Preparing competitive quotations and following up to secure orders
- Handling warranty returns and customer complaints effectively
- Undertaking delivery duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Days Holiday.
What You'll Need
You’ll have good maths and English skills with proven experience in a similar environment. A professional, customer-first approach is essential, along with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
You must hold a full UK driving licence as driving duties are part of the role. A Forklift Truck Licence would be advantageous, but training can be provided.
