What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle telephone and email orders from engineers needing urgent parts
- Source components from competitive suppliers based on engineer specifications
- Process orders accurately and update databases with detailed call notes
- Create quotations from preferred suppliers at competitive prices
- Troubleshoot supply issues to meet customer expectations
- Build relationships across the FSW network, suppliers, and national account customers
- Monitor purchase orders and credit card invoice allocation
- Produce monthly customer reports on specific dates
- Manage cylinder collection monitoring and gas bank updates
What You’ll Need
- You’ll have a good standard of education including maths and English.
- An excellent telephone manner is essential along with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- You’ll need strong organisational skills to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven experience managing varied workloads whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential.
- The successful candidates will be required to participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Days Holiday.
