What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle telephone and email orders from engineers needing urgent parts
- Source components from competitive suppliers based on engineer specifications
- Process orders accurately and update databases with detailed call notes
- Create quotations from preferred suppliers at competitive prices
- Troubleshoot supply issues to meet customer expectations
- Build relationships across the FSW network, suppliers, and national account customers
- Monitor purchase orders and credit card invoice allocation
- Produce monthly customer reports on specific dates
- Manage cylinder collection monitoring and gas bank updates
What You’ll Need
You’ll have a good standard of education including maths and English. An excellent telephone manner is essential along with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
You’ll need strong organisational skills to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines. Proven experience managing varied workloads whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential.
The successful candidates will be required to participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Days Holiday.
