The role of Project Coordinator is to support the execution of capital construction and retrofit projects within a live semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role will work closely with the Project Manager and engineering teams to coordinate technical documentation, track project performance, and support site execution activities.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of construction methodologies and MEP systems, with the ability to interface effectively between design, construction, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support planning and coordination of capital retrofit and infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Assist in reviewing and tracking technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate MEP installation activities with contractors and internal engineering teams.
- Monitor project schedules and provide progress updates against milestones.
- Support cost tracking, change management logs, and procurement activities.
- Participate in site walks, contractor coordination meetings, and safety reviews.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, site EHS standards, and quality procedures.
- Assist in commissioning planning, system turnover documentation, and handover packages.
- Maintain accurate document control in accordance with project and client standards.
- Support risk identification and mitigation tracking throughout project lifecycle.
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline).
- At least 3 years’ experience supporting construction or capital projects in industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environments.
- Working knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, process piping, and building services infrastructure.
- Familiarity with technical documentation processes (RFIs, submittals, as-builts, commissioning packs).
- Understanding of construction sequencing in live operational facilities preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and document management systems.
- Strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills.
