Scottish Youth Theatre is seeking an Artistic Producer (Emerging Artist Programme) to join the team at an exciting time in the company’s evolution. Help curate an ambitious and exciting emerging programme for Scotland’s young theatre-makers.
This new Artistic Producer role is essential to the growth of our programme that explicitly bridges the gap between education/youth theatre and the professional industry. You will be joining a small, dedicated team and working directly with young artists and creative professionals across the theatre spectrum to help ‘make it happen’ for emerging young theatre-makers in Scotland.
The core remit of this role is producing projects and training programmes that respond to the needs and aspirations of young people intent on a career in the professional industry. You’ll need to be well practised in the breadth of tasks associated with producing work of this nature including:
- Programme design
- Raising funds
- Recruitment
- Managing resources
- Ongoing evaluation
- Delivering end events
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Contract Terms: Full Time, Permanent Contract
