We are partnering with a prestigious Security client, the UK’s leading family-run security provider, to recruit a Technical Tutor at their Southwest London training academy. This is your chance to share your fire and security expertise, inspire apprentices, and shape the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical and theory-based training in fire and security systems, aligned to the FESS Level 3 standard.
- Develop engaging course materials, including classroom presentations and online modules.
- Coach, mentor, and assess apprentices through practical workshops and written assignments.
- Collaborate with the management team to meet academy development goals and quality standards.
- Liaise with external clients, awarding bodies, and recruitment partners to maintain compliance and maximize learner success.
- Provide career advice, support apprentice recruitment, and promote commercial training offerings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience installing or servicing fire and security systems.
- Strong technical background aligned to Fire & Security Standards (FESS).
- Excellent communicator comfortable presenting to groups and writing learner documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with virtual training platforms.
- Highly organised, methodical, and able to balance competing deadlines.
- Passion for working with young people and a genuine desire to develop talent.
