We are partnering with a prestigious Security client, the UK’s leading family-run security provider, to recruit a Technical Tutor at their Southwest London training academy. This is your chance to share your fire and security expertise, inspire apprentices, and shape the next generation of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and theory-based training in fire and security systems, aligned to the FESS Level 3 standard.
  • Develop engaging course materials, including classroom presentations and online modules.
  • Coach, mentor, and assess apprentices through practical workshops and written assignments.
  • Collaborate with the management team to meet academy development goals and quality standards.
  • Liaise with external clients, awarding bodies, and recruitment partners to maintain compliance and maximize learner success.
  • Provide career advice, support apprentice recruitment, and promote commercial training offerings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience installing or servicing fire and security systems.
  • Strong technical background aligned to Fire & Security Standards (FESS).
  • Excellent communicator comfortable presenting to groups and writing learner documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with virtual training platforms.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and able to balance competing deadlines.
  • Passion for working with young people and a genuine desire to develop talent.
