We are partnering with a prestigious Security client, the UK’s leading family-run security provider, to recruit a Technical Tutor at their Southwest London training academy. Technical Tutor Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical and theory-based training in fire and security systems, aligned to the FESS Level 3 standard
  • Develop engaging course materials, including classroom presentations and online modules
  • Coach, mentor, and assess apprentices through practical workshops and written assignments
  • Collaborate with the management team to meet academy development goals and quality standards
  • Liaise with external clients, awarding bodies, and recruitment partners to maintain compliance and maximize learner success
  • Provide career advice, support apprentice recruitment, and promote commercial training offerings

  • Proven experience installing or servicing fire and security systems
  • Strong technical background aligned to Fire & Security Standards (FESS)
  • Excellent communicator comfortable presenting to groups and writing learner documentation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with virtual training platforms
