What you'll do

• Lead comprehensive security assessments for various clients, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement security frameworks and policies that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy security solutions tailored to client needs.
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.
• Provide expert guidance on incident response and recovery strategies to minimize the impact of security breaches.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and trends, ensuring that security practices evolve accordingly.
• Mentor and train junior security staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing the team's overall capabilities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on consulting or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• A solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to data protection and privacy, such as GDPR.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud security and familiarity with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
