We are offering a year-long industrial placement opportunity for a university student to join the Modern Workplace practice as an Intern Technical Consultant. This role forms part of a sandwich degree programme and provides practical experience in a consultancy environment. The role involves working with clients to support the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft 365 tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with configuration, providing guidance on usage, and applying best practices to help organisations improve collaboration, communication, and productivity.
- Working as part of the wider FSP project team to deliver technical solutions to clients.
- Documenting requirements, advising and consulting with customers on their business needs.
- Configuration of relevant products to customer requirements.
- Producing technical artefacts including administration guides and configuration documents.
- Staying up to date with the latest technology developments and promoting these within your projects.
- Sharing knowledge as part of the FSP technical community.
About you:
- Working towards a Degree in relevant subject area as part of a course requiring an industrial placement.
- Passion for technology.
- Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Able to capture end-user requirements, design, code, test, correct and document programs.
- Able to assist in the investigation and resolution of problems.
- Possess strong IT skills.
