We have an exciting opportunity for a senior .NET developer to join our growing Cloud Engineering and Platforms team. The successful applicant will work alongside our architects and consultants to deliver high quality, cloud native applications to help our clients maximise the benefits the cloud has to offer.
Due to the nature of this role successful candidates may need to undergo security clearance. To be eligible for this role you must have lived in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years.
Responsibilities- Take technical responsibility across all stages of development.
- Develop .NET solutions for the cloud that are commercially viable and technically excellent.
- Diagnose and fix issues in complex technical environments.
- Understand customer requirements and work collaboratively with architects and consultants to design technical solutions that deliver the expected outcomes.
- Contribute to estimating activities, driving towards approaches that balance quality and velocity of delivery.
- Deliver comprehensive technical documentation that supports the deployment and administration of the solutions we build.
- Continually refine our development standards and best practices, promoting their reuse and ensuring they are adopted.
- Support and mentor other developers within the team and our clients.
- Skilled in developing .NET applications.
- Strong background in building applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Able to apply S.O.L.I.D. principles and modern design patterns effectively.
- Capable front-end web developer.
- Proficient working with SQL databases.
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure application development.
- Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Bicep or Terraform.
- Confident in configuring CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable using Agile ALM tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification.
- Knowledge of Blazor.
- Experience with React or Angular.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Understanding of SharePoint (On-Prem and Online).
- Ability to script using Windows PowerShell.
