Our products help customers increase safety and efficiency within their operations across a wide range of industries.
We are currently seeking a salesperson to join our team.
About the role This position requires an enthusiastic individual who enjoys customer facing sales.
Your job is to grow our business across the UK, finding new customers and building on existing key accounts.
You will be required to promote and sell various products within our wireless remote-control range, along with our custom electronic solutions.
Our customers are primarily operating within the quarrying, construction, material handling, industrial lifting and warehousing industries.
Key responsibilities Identify, target and win new customers across the UK, while growing the accounts you are given.
Take a solution selling approach: get to the root of a customer's challenge and sell the outcome, not just the product.
Carry out product demonstrations and site visits to move opportunities forward.
Prepare quotations, manage your pipeline in the CRM and follow deals through to order.
Build and work a clear sales plan for your territory and hit your targets.
Represent FSL at trade shows and exhibitions across the UK.
Keep on top of market trends and competitor activity, and spot new sectors where our systems can win.
Feed customer insight and product ideas back to the team to keep our products improving.
Work with marketing to keep the website, social media and sales literature current.
Keep the team updated with regular sales reports and forecasts, and work with production to satisfy customer requirements.
What you'll need Results focused, with a proven track record of hitting sales and business targets.
A background in field or technical B2B sales.
Someone who can open doors and close.
Experience selling electronics, industrial or technical products (training will be provided on our specific products).
Knowledge of industrial markets & our core industries (construction, quarrying, material handling and related sectors).
A consultative, solution selling style that builds trust and long-term business relationships, rather than pushing product.
Strong relationship building, negotiation and communication skills.
Solid literacy and numeracy, comfortable with quotes, price lists and figures.
A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
What we offer £40,000 - £45,000 base salary, DOE.
Uncapped commission, offering realistic on-target earnings of £55,000£60,000.
Company Vehicle for necessary travel.
