We are looking to employ a competent chef to lead our busy kitchen environment at our modern and welcoming club situated just outside of Maidstone. Due to the location of our club, applicants must have their own means of transport.

All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application. We are going through an exciting period of change and looking to employ a competent Head Chef to provide meals to our members and guests from our freshly prepared cafe style menu.

This is a full time position working five days out of seven following an early or late shift pattern, with the opportunity to work additional hours when we have functions and events. You will need to be competent working within a fast paced environment with a bias towards preparing freshly cooked meals using fresh ingredients.

We are looking for someone with a can do attitude, whose ideas and input would be sought in how we shape our menus and offering going forward. We are looking to take our food offering to the next level and looking for somebody with the appropriate experience and energy to do this.

You will need to hold a Level 2 food safety qualification as a minimum, with knowledge and experience of all statutory food safety legislation and procedures relevant to that of a commercial kitchen environment. Experience leading a kitchen is also essential.

In return we offer a competitive salary, 28 days paid holiday.
