We are proud to be supporting Palfinger UK in their search for a Mobile Field Service Engineer to join their established and highly regarded aftersales team. Join Palfinger as our South-west based specialist Engineer! This is a rare opportunity to become a specialist Service Engineer maintaining and repairing our premium, market-leading lorry loaders - some of the most advanced lifting machines on the road today. Duties:

It’s a work from home role. After extensive training you’ll be travelling across the region delivering on-site engineering support to our own brand of lorry loader cranes, including:

  • Regular crane servicing.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical & software faults on customer sites.
  • Performing LOLER inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Providing expert technical support and training to customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Plant Fitter maintaining similar hydraulic lifting equipment such as construction plant, forklifts, agricultural machinery, powered access equipment or taillifts is required.
  • Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar discipline.
  • Live in close proximity to Exeter and hold a full UK driving licence.
