THE ROLE
Our marketing function is an integral part of fscom and a key driver of our continued growth. We are a high performing team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and delivering measurable results. We need someone who brings energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for marketing – someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, but comes with ideas and the drive to make them happen.
As a Marketing Executive, you will play a hands-on role in shaping how fscom is positioned in the market. You will own campaigns end-to-end, dig into the analytics to understand what’s working and what’s not, and use data to drive smarter decisions. You will help build and strengthen our marketing function, championing our position as compliance maturity specialists and ensuring every piece of content reinforces our brand's voice, expertise, and reputation. This is a role for someone with approximately 2 years’ experience who is ready to step up, take ownership, and grow with us.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a proactive and trusted member of the marketing team, building strong relationships across the business to understand our practices and deliver marketing that makes a real impact;
- Deliver high quality marketing material in the form of blogs, content downloads, presentations, weekly and monthly newsletters, and in person meetings;
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution, from concept through to measurement and reporting, using tools such as HubSpot and SEO – always with an eye on results and ROI;
- Development and design of graphics for social media posts;
- Maintenance and ongoing update of website and social media channels;
- Monitor and analyse social and digital activity from competitors, bringing insights and fresh ideas to the team;
- Develop and deliver email marketing campaigns, tracking performance metrics to continuously improve engagement and return on investment;
- Maintenance of HubSpot CRM platform;
- Preparation and promotion of online and in person events and training sessions;
- Assistance in preparation of proposals and presentations;
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy, bringing your own ideas to the table to help build and evolve the function;
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within a digital or content-driven environment.
- Have relevant qualification and/or degree in marketing/digital marketing.
- A confident and competent writer who can create compelling content relevant to a professional services audience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for marketing and content creation, with a natural curiosity for what works.
- Understanding of content marketing, SEO, and digital analytics – you should be comfortable working with data to measure and demonstrate results.
- Diligent, with excellent levels of attention to detail.
- A self-starter who works on their own initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of their work.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Experience in the professional services industry.
- Experience using social media graphics software e.g. Canva (preferable).
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro to create and edit video content (preferable).
- Experience using HubSpot Sales and Marketing CRM.
