We're partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing Financial Services firm looking to appoint their first dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to build an internal recruitment function from the ground up, partnering with senior stakeholders to attract exceptional talent across the business while reducing reliance on external agencies.

The Role
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process across a wide range of business functions, working closely with hiring managers to identify, attract and secure high-calibre talent. You'll play a key role in developing recruitment processes, enhancing the candidate experience, strengthening the employer brand, and providing market insight to support strategic hiring decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple business areas, managing vacancies from briefing through to offer acceptance.
- Develop direct sourcing strategies to reduce agency reliance and improve hiring efficiency.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and advise on recruitment best practice.
- Design and continuously improve recruitment processes, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
- Manage interview scheduling, candidate communications and offer negotiations.
- Produce regular recruitment reporting and hiring market insights for senior leadership.
- Promote internal mobility and employee referral initiatives.
- Support employer branding activities across LinkedIn, careers pages and recruitment events.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies where required, ensuring value for money.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and ATS records.
- Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with employment legislation and internal governance requirements.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
About You
You'll likely have:
- Previous in-house Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience within Financial Services, Professional Services or a regulated environment.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously across a range of disciplines.
- Strong direct sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent attraction methods.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence hiring managers.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment experience.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across the wider business.
