Our client is an award-winning Wealth Management firm with approximately £2 billion of Assets Under Management (AUM). Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their highly successful team. The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Advisers and be responsible for supporting the end-to-end client journey through a combination of administration and paraplanning duties.

Administration Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls and dealing with client and provider queries.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Scanning and logging Letters of Authority (LOAs) onto the LOA tracker.
  • Requesting information from providers via email and post.
  • Chasing outstanding policy information with providers.
  • Maintaining and updating the LOA tracker.
  • Preparing and distributing monthly client valuations.

Paraplanning Responsibilities

  • Working closely with a dedicated Adviser and attending daily case update meetings.
  • Liaising with clients via telephone, email and post when required.
  • Conducting research to support new business recommendations.
  • Drafting suitability reports, cover letters, one-page summaries and other client-facing documentation.
  • Preparing and pre-populating documentation for client review meetings.
  • Updating client records and fact-find information on Intelligent Office (iO).
  • Ensuring all client documentation is scanned, categorised and stored accurately.
  • Attending client meetings when required.

Skills & Experience

  • Honest, reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity at all times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong telephone manner and client‑facing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, providers and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Committed to professional development and completing industry examinations.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or actively working towards qualification).
