A well-established wealth management firm with c. £2bn assets under management is looking to appoint a dedicated Protection Adviser to join its growing South Coast office. This is a specialist, protection-only role within a mortgage-led office that sits inside a broader wealth management group. The appointment is designed to materially improve protection outcomes for clients while creating a strong, recurring income stream for the adviser.

The Role

  • Act as the sole protection specialist within the office, supporting mortgage advisers and advisers across the wider group.
  • Provide advice across the full protection suite including life assurance, critical illness, income protection, and family protection.
  • Work from warm, internal referrals generated by an established mortgage and advice team.
  • Manage the full advice process from initial engagement through to policy placement and ongoing client servicing.
  • Write all business on a non-indemnity basis, creating transparent, sustainable earnings.
  • Ensure all advice and documentation meets FCA and internal compliance standards.
