A fast growing trading platform based in London, currently around 120 employees, with a projected hiring need of 40 heads over the next year across new roles and replacement hires.

A standalone Head of Talent Acquisition role, owning recruitment end to end for the business. You will build and run the hiring engine from scratch, working closely with leadership to deliver against an ambitious growth plan. Suited to someone who is hands on with live roles as well as strategic, and comfortable operating without a team around them, at least initially.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own full cycle recruitment across all functions, from trading and technology to operations, risk, and commercial roles.
  • Build and deliver a hiring plan for around 50 hires over the next year.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership on role requirements and priorities.
  • Build direct sourcing capability and reduce reliance on agencies where possible.
  • Manage any external recruitment partners.
  • Own employer branding and candidate experience.
  • Report on hiring metrics and pipeline health to senior stakeholders.
  • Lay the groundwork for a wider TA team as volumes grow.
What we are looking for:
  • Track record in Talent Acquisition within financial services, ideally trading or fintech.
  • Experience hiring at volume through a period of significant growth.
  • Comfortable building a function from the ground up.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders.
  • Strong direct sourcing skills alongside agency management experience.
  • Commercial understanding of hiring costs and forecasting.
