Our client is a leading London-based Wealth Manager with approximately £2bn in Assets Under Management (AUM), serving a high-net-worth client base across the UK. They are seeking a qualified Finance Manager (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) to join their growing finance team in a broad and high-impact role covering financial reporting, FP&A, regulatory, and operational finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Lead the consolidation and reporting for the Group.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Regulatory & FCA Reporting
- Prepare and review FCA regulatory returns and capital adequacy calculations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements for the Group.
FP&A & Business Partnering
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to senior leadership.
- Support strategic planning and decision-making across the business.
Operational Finance
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Implement and refine internal controls and processes to support growth.
- Manage and develop a small team within finance.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Key Requirements
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant.
- Strong experience in UK GAAP reporting.
- Exposure to FCA-regulated environments, ideally within wealth or asset management.
- Broad finance background covering financial control, FP&A, and operations.
- Proven team management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
